Purpose

The main purpose of the establishment of Putra®|Bakti is to raise awareness of social responsibility and thereby enhance the soft skills amongst university graduates such as leadership skills, organizational management, communication and thereby generate credible and caring students and staff. Putra®|Bakti is a significant step in UPM's efforts to carry out a courtesy agenda by strengthening a culture of tolerance, tolerance and compassion for the development of human capital He is also in line with the UPM motto, "Knowledge, Dedicated". The value of sacrifice and devotion can be translated into various aspects, including through volunteerism. Along with the university's function as a knowledge tower that does not separate its relationship with outside societies, volunteering activities are among the important platforms for university students to contribute through the transfer of knowledge, expertise, and community service.
