SERDANG, 8 July – The Centre for Corporate Strategy and Relations (PSPK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) held its Mid-Year Performance Review and 2025 Target Setting Workshop today at L'apprenti UPM.

This half-day workshop aimed to assess PSPK’s performance achievements from January to June 2025 and to strengthen the department’s strategic direction for the remainder of the year.

In her opening remarks, PSPK Director, Associate Professor Dr Dahlia Zawawi, emphasised that regular evaluations such as this are vital to ensure that all functions and initiatives outlined in the PSPK Strategic Plan are implemented consistently and with high impact.

“This workshop is not just a performance review session, but an opportunity for us to collectively reflect on the effectiveness of our actions, reinforce team spirit, and build momentum towards achieving our 2025 goals,” she said.

Also present were Deputy Director (Corporate Communication), Mr Noor Mohamad Shakil Hameed, and Deputy Director (Corporate Data), Associate Professor Dr Masrah Azrifah Azmi Murad.

A total of 45 PSPK staff actively participated in group discussions and presentations of improvement proposals based on the core functions of each unit, including strategic communication, branding, media relations, data management, and institutional reporting.

The workshop also featured a review of mid-year KPI achievements, identification of implementation challenges, and discussions on adaptive strategies to meet the current needs of the university and stakeholders.

Adding a personal touch to the event, PSPK also held a farewell ceremony for staff members who have been transferred to other Responsibility Centres (PTJs) and for industrial training students who completed their placements. A birthday celebration was also held for staff born in May, June, and July, fostering stronger bonds and a spirit of camaraderie within the department.

PSPK remains committed to strengthening its role as a leader in strategic communication and corporate data for the university through a collaborative and values-driven approach.
